Encourage Friendly Competition—Artists strive to produce quality music that climbs the charts and elevates the industry’s standards.

Help DJs and Promoters – Radio stations, club DJs, and event promoters use the chart to determine trending songs and curate their playlists accordingly.

Boost Streaming & Sales—Being on the Top 10 list increases streams, downloads, and sales, benefiting independent and established artists.

Bridge Local & International Markets—The chart tracks music trends and helps Haitian artists gain recognition beyond their borders.

How is the Top 10 Ranking Determined?

To ensure fairness and accuracy, HMI Magazine uses the following ranking method:

  1. Fan Voting (50%) – Weekly votes cast by fans online and via SMS contribute to half of the final ranking score.
  2. Streaming Data (20%) – Official streaming numbers from platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube are analyzed.
  3. Radio Airplay (15%) – How often a song is played on Haitian radio stations and international stations supporting Haitian music.
  4. Club & DJ Rotation (10%) – Reports from nightclub DJs and event promoters about the most requested and played songs.
  5. Expert Panel (5%) – A small percentage of the score is based on an evaluation by industry professionals, including producers, journalists, and DJs.

This ranking method ensures that the Top 10 Hot Songs of the Month reflect fan preference and industry impact.

Stay tuned for this month’s TOP 10 Hot Songs, where we celebrate the best of Haitian music! Keep voting, keep streaming, and keep supporting your favorite artists. Who will take the #1 spot this time?
